Sorry I don’t have much to say, so I’ll just post some pictures. Last week was Jupiter Abstract’s week and yesterday was QS Wednesday (Dreaming Mermaid). So, here are updated pictures for them.

One bad egg…

Not sure how the asshole/troll found my gallery, but he wrote comments in my Locks of Love gallery, which I’ve deleted. Since the only comments I get directly in the gallery are either rude ones like this or please sell/give me your Rainforest Afghan pattern (well except for the one comment from my friend Carol), I’ve decided to disable comments there. Hopefully the trolls won’t move over here.

I’m very happy to have all that hair gone. I prefer my hair to be no longer than shoulder length. But two years ago I decided that since I didn’t know what style to go with that I would just grow it out and donate it. I was ready to get it all whacked off in December. But it wasn’t long enough. The length was making things annoying and high maintenance and at times I thought my hair was trying to kill me by strangling me in the night.

It is not a “waste of assets” because I am not wasting it. And even if I did, who the hell cares? It is my hair to donate to a charity, to weave into baskets, or to toss in the trash. And I don’t appreciate people saying that Locks of Love is a racket. And I most definitely don’t appreciate being called a soccer mom. The ass obviously knows nothing about me if he thinks I even fit into the soccer mom category and would “hop into the minivan and go to the mall”. But what do you expect from a low-life that considers hair an asset?

So, while the good comments have definitely out numbered the rude ones, it only takes one bad egg…

The deed is done…

I have lots of photos here… but here are two teasers…

Before Photos

June 16, 2006 on 12:00 am | In Uncategorized | No Comments

DH just took the before photos (since he will probably be asleep when I leave tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn), so I thought I would post one.

Not sure what is up with the top of my head, I guess the flash didn’t reflect there like the rest of my hair. The nasty roots thing on the top isn’t really there… but strangely enough the blonde streak down the back of my head is. I didn’t know about that one since I don’t usually get to see the back of my head.
