Okay, I think I've got it!
September 29, 2006 on 6:05 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIt took some tinkering, but I think I got it. I was missing some files that the newer test site had. But hey, I can’t except to get a blog that I started almost three years ago to not need some tweaks here and hen when I upgrade versions. I’ve had the same look since the beginning and I figure it was time for a change. Now that I have the Style Catcher up and running, I can change more often if I want to.
Not that it really matters all that much. I use mostly Bloglines to keep with all the blogs I read and I figure most people probably do too. But I do double check when I post to make sure it looks okay.
It is Friday and currently in my work’s parking lot is the annual picnic. And this is the first year I’ve decided not to go. For the past four years, I’ve gone by myself (DH works about an hour away and the picnic is from 4 to 7). This year I decided not to go because let’s just face it, how much fun it is walking around by yourself watching everyone else have fun. I can do that just as easily from my office window (which over looks the parking lot where the picnic is held). I don’t want to partake of any of the unhealthy food, I don’t drink, and I don’t want to fight with all the kids for the cool rides. So, I’ll just sit here a bit longer and then head home and go running with DH.

Err… Sorry about this…
September 29, 2006 on 5:27 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsI’m trying to update my blogskin and it isn’t quite working out right. I set up a test blog and I got everything working well there… but I can’t get the main blog to work. I’m using the MT plugin Style Catcher. I found the style over on The Style Contest. I set everything back to the defaults and the new style works with the test blog, but not with the main one and I don’t know why!
Wait… I have an idea!

Stitching and Knitting Progress
September 7, 2006 on 12:00 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsI’ve been mostly knitting these days… gee did anyone figure that out. But when I do get a chance to stitch, I’ve been having fun working on HAED’s QS Dragon Eye. It is going so much better than QS Dreaming Mermaid. They are both 90 colors, but the Dragon Eye isn’t as much confetti. I’m hoping to get the first page done before the month is out (yeah I’ve said that before about Dreaming Mermaid and Jupiter Abstract). I figure once I get Dragon Eye done, I can get back to my other projects.

I have been working on the secret project I mentioned in my last post. If you are interested in seeing my progress (I’m almost a 1/3 finished), just leave a comment with your email address. And if you aren’t the intended recipient, I’ll send you a link to the progress picture.
And as expected, more hedgehogs pictures. These three little guys are going to new homes tomorrow.

Current count is 12 down, 7 to go (included two for the team leaders).
