Two of Henry’s favorite things…

Being “tossed” into the air by his daddy

And hiding under blankets…

Ah Oh! I’m in trouble!

Someone has discovered the joy of kitchen cabinets and drawers. I bought the cabinet (and drawer) latches, but we haven’t installed them yet. After trying to keep him out of a drawer all morning (right next to the cutting board/cookie sheet slot he is playing in), I think I’m going to do that tonight. He kept opening the drawer and either trying to pull out the plastic bags or pull himself up. When he tried to pull himself up, the drawer would close. I came to his rescue before his little fingers got stuck but next time, I might not be as close by. We have a baby gate up for the stairs to the basement (he hasn’t gotten close to that yet). But it is pretty high right now so we can train Pushkin to go under it.

And check out the groovy carpet in the kitchen.

Howdy

Testing is going well.  We are ahead of schedule.  But I’ve heard that might not mean we will be ending soon, it might mean that they will do more testing because they can…

I haven’t been super happy with Henry’s sleep schedule lately.  He goes to bed just fine.  But one morning he will wake up at 5:15 and be up for the day and then the next morning he will wake up at 4:00 and go back to bed at 4:30 for another hour or so.  I’m looking forward to the times when he is sleeping until I wake him up at 7 again.

A boy on the move

Life is about to get really interesting…

Not only is Henry pulling up to standing (not on everything in sight quite yet, but the crib railing was just the right height before I lowered the mattress), but now he has his crawling technique down and can make it across the across the room. He isn’t setting any speed records… yet, but I really need to do more safing of the house (if I’ve ever home earlier than 9pm!).

We are pumping down!

Big test at work… just started pumping down and will remain at vacuum for the next two weeks.  I should be able to post something at lunch each day when I hide in my office for another type of pumping down.  But I probably won’t have much to report since I’ll be spending most days and evenings (hopefully not too many) at the chamber overseeing the test.
